Australia

In the mid-2000s, I did a self-drive holiday from Melbourne, Victoria, via the Great Ocean Road — taking in the magnificent coastal scenery — to Adelaide in South Australia. On another trip, this time to Sydney, New South Wales, I drove to the spectacular Blue Mountains where I spent a few days. A highlight was experiencing the steam-train ride on the Zig Zag Railway, located at Lithgow, a short drive from the Blue Mountains. Both trips were made during Autumn, and I relied on road maps to get me everywhere.
I had a film camera back then. Despite having made large prints of some pictures, colour photographs fade over time. Digitising them has given them new life, and brought back some lovely memories.
