The Christmas Train Show — an American yuletide tradition — returned to the Flower Dome displaying miniature trains chugging past not only famous US landmarks in miniature, but also those from Denmark and Singapore. These included a Lego model of Denmark’s Nyhavn harbour and a carousel of Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tales. And, in celebration of SG60, a Singapore SMRT train glided past local landmarks including the Merlion and the Supertrees. To complete the experience, Thomas the Tank Engine chugged around a specially made Santa Village. Many of the beautifully detailed landmarks were made from natural resources.
