Think of Paris — the City of Light and City of Love — and what immediately springs to mind? Iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral (scheduled to reopen in December 2024) and the Louvre Museum. Those are “must visits”, but there is so much more. Too much more, actually, that keeps unfolding as you walk the streets.
Art and sculptures are not just confined to magnificent palaces and museums. They are everywhere!
Paris also has beautiful architecture. However, the very modern Centre Pompidou has evoked opposing views ever since its unveiling in 1977.
Although a very densely built-up city, it is easy to find refuge in the many pockets of beautiful gardens, and relax at a multitude of cafes while watching the world go by!
There is much to love about this incredibly diverse, fascinating and very walkable city. Paris certainly has that X factor!
