Tewkesbury and the Cotswolds

A visit to the charming, medieval market town of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire enabled day trips to three of The Cotswold’s enchanting villages. Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, with its low bridges across the River Windrush flowing through the centre of this picturesque and bustling village. The small village of Bibury, also in Gloucestershire, famed for its quaint Arlington Row of weaver’s cottages. And, idyllic Castle Combe, in Wiltshire, with its delightful rows of cottages. Outside a cottage here, cakes and drinks are sold on a trust basis, with payments deposited through a slot in the door! Amazing!
