A pretty snake slithered in to take centre stage at this year’s Chinatown Chinese New Year light up, which ran from 8 January to 27 February. The lunar new year decorations also highlighted SG60 as Singapore is celebrating 60 years of independence this year. In the Chinese zodiac, the snake symbolises wisdom, mystery and renewal.
